Physiogel DMT Facial Cleanser

I first started using the Physiogel DMT Facial Cleanser when my skin suddenly became rough and sensitive. One day, the foam cleanser I usually used began to sting, and my face felt tight after washing, so I thought, "I need to take a break from this." I had always used only the Physiogel DMT Cream and hadn't tried the cleanser before, but since there were many reviews saying it was gentle, I decided to give it a try.

My first impression was, "Huh? Did I really wash my face?" Haha. It barely lathered up, so it just felt slippery on my hands, and there was absolutely no squeaky clean feeling. But strangely enough, my face felt comfortable after rinsing. It didn't sting, and even without rushing to apply toner, it didn't feel tight or dry.

And it was especially good for morning cleansing. It felt like it was just lightly controlling the oil from overnight, so it wasn't heavy on the skin. On days when my skin condition wasn't good, especially when dead skin cells were flaking or redness, I didn't reach for anything else besides this. Even while washing my face, I had this feeling like, "Ah, my skin is finally going to come alive today," haha. However, on days when I wear makeup, this alone is definitely not enough. Even when I just apply sunscreen, it feels like there is still a bit of residue, so I wiped it off once with a cleansing oil and then used this for a second cleanse. Using that combination, I got fewer breakouts and the tightness deep inside my skin definitely decreased.

The downside is that the cleansing power is on the weaker side, so you might be disappointed if you expect a refreshing feeling. If you have oily skin or are the type who needs a squeaky-clean finish, it might feel a bit stifling. Still, it feels like having a safe card to play when my skin is sensitive, so I find myself reaching for it again whenever my skin is in poor condition. While I haven't seen dramatic changes from using this, I think it is a cleanser that quietly does its job well. It made me realize there is a reason why it has been selling well for so long.
