3CE Mood Recipe Face Blush that makes you look younger
I tend to keep my color makeup to just lips and cheeks, so I have a lot of related products. However, there are only a few that I truly enjoy, and one of them is this 3CE Mood Recipe Face Blush.
I have a dull skin tone with a yellowish tint, so lipstick alone is enough to make my complexion look brighter. The shade I chose is Rose Beige. It is an apricot-pink color that suits warm skin tones like mine very well. It feels like a handful of dried rose mixed into apricot, but it seems to have a bit more yellow undertone.
The color payoff is good, but since the shade itself isn't too intense, it allows for a delicate, soft cheek look. If you apply it to a brush and gently rub it under your eyes and around your cheekbones, it gives you a youthful appearance.
I'm sure this applies to other cosmetics as well, but I realized that prepping your skin before using this face blush is the basic step. If you have dead skin cells or your skin lacks moisture, it looks drier and feels like it doesn't quite blend well with your face. It seems to work well when your skin is hydrated.
If you get greedy and apply too much, you might end up looking like you've had a drink, so it is a good idea to check your reflection from a distance and add more as needed.
The only downside is that you need to prepare a separate brush. Applying it with a brush is definitely much easier to control the color and creates a prettier finish than rubbing it in with your fingers.
