I have combination skin, so some areas are dry while others are oily. Also, I have sensitive skin that is highly affected by temperature and environmental factors.

The weather has been dry lately, and since I'm getting older, my skin often feels rough or dry due to a lack of moisture, so I really need to moisturize.

However, since I feel like my basic skincare products aren't absorbing well, I sometimes use a beauty device during my skincare routine to improve absorption and supply moisture and oil. But perhaps because I have combination skin that is sensitive, whenever I feel like I've used the beauty device a little too much, red, fine blemishes or tiny acne-like breakouts inevitably appear.

 

 

The type of beauty device I use is a galvanic radio frequency product designed to enhance absorption.

I use it when using face masks or basic cosmetic products.

However, when I use a beauty device like a galvanic product to deliver moisture and nutrients deep into my skin, I often get breakouts, perhaps because I overdo it. When I focus on intense hydration for my skincare, I get a lot of small, fine blemishes, so I can't use it often and I rarely reach for it.

 

 

I am also using a beauty device that combines high frequency and ultrasound, as well as products that are good for pores.

Since ultrasonic beauty devices are good for elasticity and tightening, they cause skin irritation upon contact and make the skin twitch due to the ultrasound waves. When I use ultrasound, I sometimes feel a tingling sensation, and the areas around my mouth and teeth feel cold. It feels like my teeth are slightly sensitive from the stimulation coming from the focused ultrasound.

So, I use beauty devices frequently or much less than the standard amount.
