To all the office workers and students on Steemit who are always sitting at a desk and get tired easily! Sitting for long periods can lead to swelling and make you feel fatigued much faster. I’m going to share a very quick way to relieve that fatigue!
Many people believe that soaking their feet in warm water is the only way to relieve fatigue. While warm foot baths are beneficial, soaking in cold water allows you to relieve fatigue in a short time, typically within 3 to 5 minutes. When our bodies feel tired, a lack of oxygen causes a fatigue-causing substance called lactic acid to accumulate. Taking a foot bath in ice water activates blood circulation to raise the body temperature, ensuring a smooth supply of oxygen throughout the body. This supplied oxygen breaks down lactic acid and reduces swelling, making the body feel lighter and alleviating fatigue. However, please remember that your feet will become very cold after the bath, so you should massage them with your hands to generate heat!
