Dry your hair before you go to sleep. Please!!
It is advice heard ad nauseam at hair salons, yet the vast majority of people go to sleep without drying their hair because it is too much of a hassle. In particular, you must thoroughly dry your scalp before sleeping. This is because it is one of the worst habits that can lead not only to scalp problems but, if left untreated, even to hair loss. Kim Ji-eun, a senior stylist at Chahong Arder, offers this advice: “You also need to pay attention to the temperature of the airflow when drying your hair. Since using air that is too hot can further damage the hair cuticles, it is best to dry the scalp with warm air and the hair with cool air. If you dry your hair with cold air from start to finish, the drying time becomes too long, which can actually make it drier.”
