Summer skincare tips

As summer approaches, concerns are gradually growing regarding UV rays, pores, sweat, oil, and skin troubles.

My skin is having a mental breakdown due to various irritants such as UV rays, high humidity, and even air conditioning.

It is the right time to come. If various methods are suggested here and there, I don't know how to manage it.

It can be even more confusing and difficult to manage your skin during the summer, so let's sort it out all at once.

It might be a bit early, but today is May 30th. Since we are about to knock on the door of June, please get going and put it into action.

1. Cleansing - Oxygen-like Woman

Above all, cleansing is essential for makeup, and washing your face is crucial in summer (they all mean the same thing!). It is formed by sweat on the skin.

The sebum layer plays a role in protecting the skin, but it also causes skin problems due to bacteria or pollutants.

Double or triple cleansing can damage your skin, so basically, after lathering sufficiently in your palms,

Gently massage your face to thoroughly remove impurities, then rinse with lowered water temperature.

2. Hydration - Skin drying out rapidly in the biting wind

In summer, as sweat causes the skin's pH to become alkaline, it becomes an ideal environment for bacteria to multiply.

It is formed into an environment where, when sweat flows, natural moisturizing factors flow out of the stratum corneum along with it.

On top of the skin itself becoming dry, the cool air conditioning that is turned on everywhere you go

Like a heater in winter, it evaporates skin moisture and becomes a factor that disrupts moisture balance due to temperature differences.

This can result in fine wrinkles appearing more in the summer, starting from the stratum corneum

I recommend prepping your skin with essence, followed by a cooling gel-type moisturizing cream!

Instead of using a scrub, soften the dead skin cells with a steam towel, gently remove them, and then apply a serum.

Please note that mists can actually make things drier; I will look into this in more detail next time.

3. UV rays - Blazing sun, oily nose shiny

UV protection cannot be emphasized enough! UV rays irritate acne inflammation.

It also does so because the skin naturally produces a thick layer of dead skin cells for protection.

Harmful factors that cause not only skin burning and aging but also skin problems

Apply sunscreen 30 minutes before going out, and do not skip it even on cloudy days.

There are various sunscreens available depending on your skin type, so you can choose the one you like, and for the body...

I also recommend the spray-type sunscreen! It even has a cooling effect, so it's a lifesaver!

4. Skin Soothing - Senior, I think I have a fever

It is summer, a time when the skin often feels hot and flushed, as if one is burning up.

After the autumn sports day, I used to put a potato pack on my face, which would turn bright red before it even had a chance to tan.

I remember that this induced a soothing effect that removes heat from the skin.

Cold compresses are fine, but avoid excessively cold ones; otherwise, use cool milk.

Massage provides moisturizing and soothing effects, and the cucumber pack soothes along with moisture.

In addition to this, I recommend an aloe pack for sensitive skin, and potatoes are also great for cooling down!

It is a good idea not to neglect sheet masks just because it is summer, and to buy them in advance to use.

5. Deep Sleep - The Beauty of the Sleeping Bed

During the peak of summer, when tropical nights persist, it is common to have trouble sleeping, and the next day...

My dry, flaky skin, which inevitably returns whenever I try, is just like not washing up after drinking too much.

My skin condition has worsened. The saying that a person who sleeps a lot is a beauty is not laziness.

The saying likely originated because deep sleep is linked to skin regeneration. In particular, the period from 10 PM to 2 AM is skin regeneration time.

It is essential to fall asleep at this time, as this facilitates blood circulation and hormone secretion.

This is because regenerative activity takes place in which aged cells are replaced by newly generated cells.

Warm foot baths, half-body baths, and cotton underwear and pajamas are truly excellent ways to induce deep sleep!
