I apply sunscreen with a puff during the sunscreen step. In the hot summer, when I apply sunscreen with my hands, the heat from my hands transfers to my facial skin, causing my makeup to break down easily. Using a puff prevents the heat from transferring and allows me to apply the sunscreen thinly and evenly, so my base makeup doesn't smudge.
