Place a toner pad on before base makeup

Placing a face mask or toner pad on your face before applying makeup has the advantage of cooling down skin temperature, significantly improving makeup longevity, and replenishing moisture so that your makeup applies much better! Instead of using face masks, I personally make and use my own toner pads. I soak a cotton pad with a hydrating toner, store it in the refrigerator, and place it on my cheeks and forehead before applying makeup, waiting for about 10 minutes. Wiping your face with the pad to refine your skin texture before applying makeup allows you to create a much better base!
