Disadvantages of Vaseline

Vaseline is being used as a versatile tool in dry weather like this, but I've noticed a downside to using it for skincare: it lacks the pleasant scent or smooth application found in cosmetics. Perhaps that is why it seems like there are so many cosmetic products containing Vaseline appearing these days.
