The difference between melasma and freckles, the enemies of the skin, and how to prevent them!

▶ Melasma
Because female hormones are the cause, uterine/ovarian tumors
It may have arisen, or it may appear as a side effect of birth control pills,
It also appears suddenly to pregnant mothers.
Because melasma is distributed deeply and evenly across the dermis and epidermis, it does not disappear naturally once it appears.
UV rays, stress, or perfumes or cosmetics that irritate the skin,
It can worsen due to irregular sleep habits, so it is essential to manage it!
▶ Freckles
The main difference between freckles and melasma is that genetic factors play the biggest role.
Therefore, freckles can appear from a young age and are located only in the epidermal layer.
It is clearly visible in the summer due to ultraviolet rays, but sometimes disappears in the winter.
Blemishes that appear as tiny dots over a wide area
It is often caused by genetic factors and UV rays!
It mainly occurs during puberty, is most severe in the summer, and tends to improve slightly in the winter.
It often appears on the cheeks, neck, bridge of the nose, shoulders, and back, and is darker in color than melasma!

▶ How to prevent melasma/freckles
- Apply sunscreen evenly 30 minutes before going out.
2. Choose a sunscreen for sensitive skin that is non-irritating.
3. Refrain from outdoor activities from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., when ultraviolet rays are strongest.
4. When going out, wear a wide-brimmed hat, use a parasol, wear a long-sleeved coat, and wear sunglasses.
5. Apply sunscreen even indoors, and reapply every 2 to 3 hours.
6. Helps inhibit melanin production
Eat plenty of fruits rich in antioxidants, such as tomatoes and pomegranates.
7. Reduces melanin accumulation
Drink black tea, green tea, oolong tea, etc., which contain catechins.
8. Rich in Vitamin C, which inhibits melanin production
