How to lightly use gel-type moisturizing cream

1. Store and use in the refrigerator. If you have extremely oily skin where even moisturizer feels heavy, store it in the refrigerator. Simply lowering the product's temperature speeds up absorption and enhances the refreshing sensation upon application. Additionally, during the summer, high temperatures and humidity cause the skin to lose elasticity and sag easily; tightening the skin by lowering its temperature during the basic skincare routine helps your makeup last longer.

2. Use it after your first essence. This is because it helps soothe dead skin cells and opens pathways for moisture particles to penetrate easily. If you apply the gel cream after thoroughly patting on your first essence, the spreadability improves significantly and absorption is enhanced, resulting in a more effective moisturizing effect.

3. Open the water pathways with a fine mist. Thoroughly moisten your skin with a mist that sprays evenly and finely like fog, then apply a gel cream. As the mist penetrates, it opens the water pathways deep within the skin, and the gel cream creates a moisture barrier over the mist to maintain hydration for a long time.

4. Layer in Two Steps. The amount applied determines whether a gel cream feels fresh or sticky. If you apply a generous amount—as if you were using a sleeping mask—it is bound to pill or feel sticky. Divide your usual amount of gel cream into two applications, leaving a time gap. Wait sufficiently for the first application to absorb before applying a second layer.
