How to apply mascara without drooping ❌ - Monolid and double eyelids, come on in! 🤍

Today! I’m going to share how to keep your eyelashes curled up so they don’t droop in the humid, hot, and stuffy summer weather. 🤓

 

 

First of all, since my eyelashes are 'completely straight, long, and buried in my eyelids,' these are the holy grail products I found after trying various eyelash curlers and switching mascaras many times 🥹

 

You need three items to keep your eyelashes from drooping!

This is the Fillimilli Heating Eyelash Curler!!

 

First, we're going to curl your eyelashes with a heated eyelash curler, but this requires some skill!

• Press the eyelash curler firmly against your eyelid and pinch the roots of your lashes tightly! Be careful not to pinch too deeply, as it can get hot!
• Simply pinch the lashes as they are ❌ Press down firmly, draw a curve upwards, and pull the curler out at a 90-degree angle!
• Next, use a fixer and apply a ✨ thin ✨ layer to your eyelashes! If you apply too much, the fixer will turn white as it dries, and your lashes might droop because they feel heavy.
• After letting the fixer dry completely, apply mascara! Apply the mascara ✨ thinly ✨ as well! If you have monolids, it’s so easy for it to smudge on your eyelids if you just apply it straight up ㅠㅠ In that case, if you apply it in a zigzag motion upwards, you can apply it lightly without it smudging on your eyelids!

If you hold the mirror at the camera angle while applying, it makes it easier to thoroughly apply the right amount starting from the roots, so this is a great tip too 🤍

 

Ta-da! How does it look? The lashes are curled up as if they were applied tightly, right? If you clump them together well with tweezers at this stage, it will look just like real false lashes!

I usually stop here, but on special occasions, I finish it off with tweezers!
