If your face is clear but you keep getting breakouts only on your chin, try this.
I was really stressed because I kept getting breakouts specifically around my chin.
My forehead and cheeks are fine, but since breakouts keep occurring only around my chin, I wondered if the skincare products I was using weren't suitable for me, so I tried changing my cosmetics several times.
I tried switching to milder products and using products said to be good for skin troubles, but there wasn't as much change as I expected.
Then, suddenly, I started to look back at the things that touch my face every day.
What I was missing was the pillow cover and the cell phone.
The cell phone, which had been used all day, was covered in oil from my hands and various kinds of dust, and it was touching my chin and cheeks directly every time I made a call.
I realized that the area around the chin, in particular, has sebum secretion and a lot of friction, so repeated minor irritation can create an environment where breakouts are likely to occur.
The same went for the pillow covers.
I realized that although it looks clean every day, sweat shed while sleeping, oil from the skin, and leftover skincare products can continue to accumulate.
So from then on, I changed my method of changing the pillowcase every 3 to 4 days, and when I didn't have the time, I slept on a clean towel.
I also developed a habit of wiping my phone screen at least once a day, and I switched to using the speakerphone or earphones whenever possible when making calls.
At first, I wondered how much such a small change would help, but after a few weeks, I could definitely feel the frequency of breakouts around my chin decreasing.
Of course, skin conditions vary from person to person, but if you are struggling by constantly switching your cosmetics, it would be a good idea to also check your daily habits.
Using a lot of expensive products wasn't necessarily the answer to skincare.
I personally experienced that a small habit of keeping the environment that touches my face clean every day can actually be a way to make my skin more comfortable.
