When my lips are dry 💋 Does a lip mask help? 🧐

 

 

 

 

 

 

As someone with dry skin, my lips tend to be extremely dry as well.

I always carry lip balm with me when I go out, but I also make sure to do lip care at home, especially before going to bed.

 

I mainly use stick lip balm when going out, but

At home, I mainly used the pot-type Vaseline that comes in a jar.

Lately, I feel like I'm running a bit short on Vaseline too..? 🧐 so

I wondered if a lip-specific one would be different, so I bought a lip mask!

 

 

 

 

 

This is a lip mask from the brand >Nuni<, which I have mentioned in a previous post.

To be honest, I don't really have much trust in lip masks as a product itself.

(Reason: I thought it would be similar to Vaseline.) Since this is my first time buying it, I don't really have anything to compare it to, but,

Still, since it's specifically for lips, I had high hopes that it might be different!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

It seems like a characteristic of the product itself, but when I applied a thick layer, the hydration was great, and it gave off a natural flush! I applied it broadly and thickly, just like when using Vaseline, so I was quite taken aback when the color came out red around my mouth 🤣🤣🤣

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Perhaps because it is specifically for lips, it seemed to have color payoff and staining power that Vaseline lacks, and the moisturizing effect was, of course, excellent! With Vaseline, if you apply it thickly, it feels like only the surface gets a bit bulky, but the lip mask definitely replaces that with moisture.

So, even when washing my face in the morning, it didn't feel as dry!
