Great mascara tips for when you want to emphasize your eyes while going for a natural, bare-faced look.

This is my personal makeup tip for going out on a date at night in natural, comfortable clothes!

It doesn't look good if you dress comfortably but wear heavy makeup.

I use a translucent mascara when I want to pretend I'm wearing no makeup but still emphasize my eyes and eyelashes.

The mascara color is somewhere between clear and black. It feels a bit like black mixed with a lot of water?

So I like it because it emphasizes the eyelashes rather than being transparent, but it isn't completely black so it doesn't look awkward.

And usually, these translucent mascaras contain fine fibers, so

It makes your eyelashes look naturally longer, making your eyes look more defined.

And a tip I often use is when applying mascara after using an eyelash curler.

Do not apply it too closely from the roots, but leave a slight gap from the roots.

Apply it starting from the middle of the eyelashes. If you apply mascara too close to the roots...

It feels like I'm wearing makeup so strongly that it doesn't really look like my bare face.

If you apply mascara starting from the middle, it droops naturally, giving off more of a bare-faced vibe.
