Lower your lip temperature before applying lipstick

When I applied lipstick, it looked pretty at first, but over time, it often smudged outside the lip line or the color remained uneven.

Especially on days when I wear moisturizing tints or glossy lipsticks, I feel like they slide off faster, perhaps due to the heat in my lips.

So these days, I use a method of lowering my lip temperature a little before applying lipstick.

After finishing your skincare routine, do not apply lipstick immediately; instead, place a cold skin pad or a cotton pad that has been briefly chilled in the refrigerator on your lips for a few seconds.

Doing this slightly reduces the heat on the surface of the lips, and it feels like the lipstick adheres much more cleanly.

Then, if you lightly wipe off the moisture with a tissue before applying lipstick, the color comes out more evenly and it doesn't smudge as much.

In particular, the lip lines were rendered much more cleanly, so I could definitely feel the difference when taking photos.

It’s a small step, but I feel like it makes a difference in how long my lips last, so it’s a method I make sure to do these days.
