The perfect base combination for smooth skin without highlighting pores (proper blurring effect)

I was stressed every time I did my makeup because of the pores on the sides of my nose and cheeks. If I only applied foundation, the pores actually looked more prominent, so I ended up covering them with a thick layer, and then it would look even messier when it wore off... it was a vicious cycle.

So, I decided to try changing my "method" rather than the products, and after experimenting with various things, I settled on my current routine. I wanted to share it because my pores are definitely much less noticeable and my skin texture looks smoother.

First of all, skincare before applying base makeup was really important. In the past, I used to apply a generous amount of cream to keep my skin hydrated, but when I applied makeup on that state, the primer and foundation would smudge, making my pores stand out even more.

So now I’ve changed my routine to just using a toner to refine my skin texture followed by a light hydrating essence, and using only a very small amount of cream. Giving it about 5 minutes for absorption was also a key point.

At this time, do not rub it at all; instead, apply it by gently patting with your fingers to "fill in" the unevenness so that it is naturally filled in.

Just doing this process properly made my skin feel like it had already been prepped once.

I use a puff, and since it adheres better than a brush, there was less clogging in my pores.

If you dab a small amount and spread it thinly, then apply another layer only to the areas that need more, the coverage goes on naturally without looking thick.

The key point is to apply it closely, especially to the pore areas, by gently pressing with a puff.

I used to apply finishing powder all over my face, but that actually made my skin look dry and highlighted my pores even more.

For now, apply a very small amount only to the pore areas using a small brush.

Doing this controls shine without making the skin excessively matte, resulting in a much more natural blurring effect.

The best thing about switching to this routine was that my pores were less noticeable over time. Before, my makeup would break down by the afternoon and my pores would stand out more, but now the breakdown is much cleaner, so touch-ups are quick and easy.

If you are concerned about your pores when applying base makeup, try changing your approach before switching products. You will be surprised by the difference in results, even when using the exact same products!

    최소한으로 해야겠네요
저도 코와 광대뼈 윗부분만 모공부각이 있어서 거기 위주로만 해야겠어요
