๐ Here's how to manage your skin when it suddenly breaks out
Iโve noticed that whenever the seasons change, my perfectly fine skin suddenly becomes sensitive, turns red, and small blemishes start popping up one by one. In the past, I was even more stressed because I didn't know the reason, but these days, Iโve created and maintain my own skincare routine whenever my skin starts breaking out.
First of all, the very first thing I changed was my facial cleansing method. When my skin becomes sensitive, I use a mild cleanser rather than a product with strong cleansing power, and
After washing my face, I also make sure to remove moisture by gently patting it rather than rubbing it with a towel.
And what I felt was most important is moisturization. During the change of seasons, the skin barrier weakens and moisture evaporates easily, so I always make sure to finish with a cream. On days when my skin is particularly sensitive, I apply a slightly thicker layer than usual to create a protective barrier.
Additionally, I use a hydrating mask pack about 2 to 3 times a week to soothe my skin. I found that applying the pack, especially when my skin felt rough and very tight, made my skin feel much more comfortable the next day.
I realized that lifestyle habits shouldn't be overlooked either. Just drinking enough water and getting enough sleep made my skin feel much less sensitive. Since indoor air tends to get dry during the changing seasons, using a humidifier or increasing water intake also seems to be helpful.
During the change of seasons, the skin reacts easily to even minor irritations, so I think the most important thing is to minimize irritation as much as possible and focus on moisturizing and soothing. I have been consistently managing my skin this way, and it feels much more stable and less irritated than before, so I plan to continue maintaining this routine. ๐
