가을찰 피부관리 법 알려주셔서 감사합니다
1. My dry skin needs water
Autumn skin is characterized by a tight and dry feeling due to a lack of moisture. Therefore, it is important to increase skin hydration levels.
In particular, it is best to moisturize within 3 minutes of washing your face. Moisturizing is most effective when done while the skin still retains some moisture. This applies even after showering or bathing. If your skin is very dry, keep a moisturizer in the bathroom and use it before leaving.
Also, during the change of seasons, showering frequently as you did in the summer can easily dry out your skin, so it is advisable to reduce showering to 3 to 4 times a week. If the indoor environment is very dry, using a humidifier helps supply moisture. When using a humidifier, adjust the humidity to above 40% and avoid directing it toward your face so that it does not come into direct contact with your skin.
The most important thing is water intake. This is because if the body is dehydrated, moisture in the skin is drawn to other parts of the body.
2. Let's wash thoroughly to exfoliate.
During the transition from summer to autumn, the skin surface becomes rough and makeup starts to flake. This is because the cold, dry air causes a sharp decrease in sweat and sebum secretion, leading to an increase in dead skin cells. Therefore, it is important to maintain smooth skin by removing dead skin cells through proper cleansing.
First, place a soft steam towel on your face for 2 to 3 minutes to soften dead skin cells, then use a product specifically designed for exfoliation. For dry skin, focus on exfoliating the T-zone area, where sebum is high. However, avoid products containing synthetic surfactants with oil-removing properties. Excessively removing the essential oil film of the stratum corneum can cause the skin to become even drier.
For oily skin, it is recommended to exfoliate about 2 to 3 times a week, as dead skin cells can clog pores and cause skin troubles such as acne. Additionally, you should pay attention to your daily cleansing routine to remove various impurities that have clumped together with sebum.
However, regardless of your skin type, avoid washing your face too frequently or with hot water. This can strip the skin of moisture and wash away its natural sebum layer, causing dryness. It is best to prepare lukewarm water that feels warm to the touch, use a product that produces rich lather, and finish the wash within 2 to 3 minutes.
3. The basics of whitening: Don't forget sun protection to prevent blemishes and freckles
While it is commonly thought that ultraviolet (UV) rays are strong only in the summer, autumn is no exception. In particular, prolonged exposure to UV rays during the autumn season can cause melasma and freckles that were absent or faint during the summer to become more pronounced. Therefore, it is essential to pay attention to UV protection in the fall to maintain clear skin.
Use a sunscreen with an SPF of 15 or higher as a basic precaution, but use an SPF of 30 or higher on days when you will be outdoors for a long time. Apply sunscreen thoroughly 30 minutes to 1 hour before going outside. It is also advisable to wear a hat and use a parasol during outdoor activities.
