Hello. March is almost over, and April is just around the corner. With the arrival of spring, the oil-moisture balance inevitably gets disrupted due to the season, and a dead skin cell party is practically guaranteed. I have combination skin that is oily, sensitive, and acne-prone—truly the worst possible condition. Since I have acne-prone skin, I need to exfoliate gently. While gommage-type products are supposed to be low-irritation, I'm not sure if they are actually flaking off the dead skin cells. On the other hand, I can't exactly physically peel them off or use a device to scrub them away, so I've always been in a dilemma. Many of you may already know this, but I wanted to share my secret tip, so I'm writing this post.
Enzyme cleansers have been trending for the past few years, and if you haven't tried them yet, I highly recommend giving them a try. You know how some dermatology clinics stock enzyme cleansers? I always felt like my face was getting really clean, but I discovered that you can actually use them as an exfoliator. Since they are enzymes, they work best in a slightly humid and warm environment, so it is great to use them while showering. Mix this with water, apply it to your face, leave it on for about 10 minutes, and then gently roll it over to wash it off. It really removes dead skin cells with minimal irritation, leaving your skin as smooth as a peeled egg. Doing this once a week is recommended.
I've tried a lot of enzyme cleansers on the market, and they were all pretty good. However, I'd like to introduce Papa Recipe, which was the best among them.
Manage your exfoliation with gentle care during the changing seasons!!
