So smooth🧴 Recommendations for winter moisturizers to create smooth skin⁉️

It's already December and the end of the year is just around the corner. ㅠㅠ The weather suddenly got so cold, and with the flu going around these days, it seems like a lot of my friends are sick. 🤢

How is your health, everyone?! Especially in winter, I inevitably catch a cold, and my skin condition tends to get at its absolute worst.. 🥶 This year, my skin feels particularly dry and tight.

 

So this month, after giving it some thought and asking friends and acquaintances, I’m planning to write a post about moisturizing products for dry and cracked winter skin! I’ll be introducing two items each for the face and body. 😵‍💫

 

 

📍 Dr.G Red Blemish Clear Soothing Cream

 

The first is the already very famous Dr.G Red Blemish Clear Soothing Cream! With a moisture content of +34.45%, this product provides hydration that lasts for a whopping 100 hours and soothes both UV rays and physical irritation.🍀

 

I've also tested a lot of moisturizing creams suitable for winter, but I always end up coming back to Dr. G cream.

Since I have sensitive, acne-prone, and dehydrated skin, I tend to find creams with overly heavy textures burdensome. However, compared to other creams on the market, this cream wasn't excessively moisturizing, and it finished with a hydrated 💦 finish without any noticeable greasiness! So, I think it's good for people with dehydrated oily skin like me, but it might be slightly disappointing for those with dry skin.

 

I tend to use other acne-specific creams during spring, summer, and autumn to manage breakouts (ㅠㅠ), but I found that if my skin feels dry in the winter, applying a thin layer of Dr.G cream several times over an acne cream helps prevent a dry finish!

However, since I am currently using the jar type and find it inconvenient to have to scoop it out with my fingers every time, I recommend that Unpa members purchase the tube type for hygienic and convenient use ♥

 

 

📍 Etude Ginger Sugar Overnight Lip Mask

Actually, this product is already so famous, and since I use it not just in winter but every single day of the year—so much so that I’m tired of it—I really debated whether or not to introduce it here! However, since lips get dry in the winter, I decided to introduce it because I wanted to recommend it for dry lip care💋.

 

I have sensitive and dehydrated skin, so while my skin is dry, my lips are also extremely dry. ㅠㅠ I have been stressed about lip flaking since I was very young, so I never even imagined wearing matte lipstick.

That is why, after trying so many different lip care products, I started using this one and decided to entrust my life to it… 🤑🫳🏻🫳🏻

 

First, let me describe the texture. It is a very thick consistency that coats the lips thoroughly! So, after finishing your skincare routine before bed, apply a generous amount to your lips as a final step. When you wake up the next morning, gently rub it with a wet tissue, and the dead skin cells will gently slough off and smooth out your lips! Once the dead skin is removed like that, lip products apply much more beautifully too 💄

 

However, as mentioned earlier, the texture is thick and can feel sticky rather than moisturizing, so I don't recommend applying it with your hands! It feels unpleasant when it gets on your hands ㅠㅠ Also, it tends to get in the way if it touches your pillow or pajamas when you toss and turn in your sleep, so please keep that in mind!!

📍 Paul Madison Signature Body Lotion White Musk Scent

 

I have a confession to make. 🙇‍♀️ I am actually an incredibly lazy person, so while I am very careful about selecting and recommending my facial skincare products, I am not particularly serious about body care. For body moisturizers, I usually just follow the products my parents recommended and bought for me haha… However, the body lotion I am currently using suits me perfectly and smells great, so I think it is worth recommending!

 

The reason I recommend this product is that it offers incredible value for money ❌❌ – truly god-tier value ⭕️⭕️!! With a whopping 1.0777L capacity, it is a massive size that feels like it will last a very long time once you buy it, but since the price was around the late 10,000 won range for two, it was a product with an unbeatable price tag💰.

 

It’s not just the price that’s great! The texture was also excellent. While other body lotions can feel heavy or sticky for a long time, this product is refreshing and lightweight, making it a great moisturizer to use not only in winter but also in spring and summer. It absorbs quickly after application, so it wasn't inconvenient at all when changing clothes.

 

I tend not to use body lotions if the scent is too strong or overwhelming, but since this one has a white musk scent, it isn't overpowering and has a subtle fragrance. I think it's great for women, men, and the whole family to use together!

📍 Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream 453g

 

This is another product I'm using just like my mom did, haha. I think I'll probably stick to the body products I've always used.♥️

 

After showering, I usually apply the aforementioned body lotion all over my body first, and then apply Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream to areas that are particularly dry during the winter or where I feel extra dryness!! Since it is a cream rather than a lotion, I felt that it has better moisturizing power haha.

 

My body isn't particularly sensitive, so I didn't see any soothing effect on my sensitive skin, but since the ingredients are gentle, I think it would probably work well for those with sensitive body skin as well.

Although this product can be used on both the face and body, personally, I tend to use products that suit my skin type, so I only use it on my body.

 

Since I hadn't used cream before, I was worried it might be too heavy compared to body lotion. However, as I applied it, it naturally melted from my skin's heat and absorbed seamlessly. It didn't feel stuffy at all—just the perfect moisturization for the winter!

It was a good product to apply as a lotion and cream.
