Olive Young Black Friday was at the beginning of this month!! Did you guys get a lot of great deals??? 🤔

 

I've purchased many products myself, but since the success rate was 50/50... Olive Young Black Friday Best & Worst Items I gathered them all and brought them here!😙

 

This is a review heavily filled with my personal preferences—I will be completely honest, praising what deserves praise and criticizing what deserves criticism(?)—so please keep that in mind as you read. Thank you☺️

Colorgram Geek Nude Color Cover Tint [05 Cement]

 

Actually, I personally don't really like the high-saturation colors like "softness" or "soft pink" because they don't suit me well.

 

Usually, most lip base products on the market have vibrant colors like pink or coral, so as someone who prefers nude or muted shades, I didn't feel even 1% of a desire to buy them.

 

I learned about Colorgram Geek Nude Color Cover Tint through word of mouth, and after actually purchasing and using it, I found it to be the perfect product for "color cover"—one that faithfully fulfills the role of simply covering stains and neutralizing lip color without any prominent color.

 

For those with slightly darker skin tones like me, I gave the Colorgram Geek Nude Color Cover Tint a "Best" rating because I was so satisfied with it—especially shade 05 Cement—which naturally tones down the color without looking unnatural on the skin, unlike the other shades!

 

 

Laneige Glaze Craze Tinted Lip Serum [Chocolate Frosting]

 

I received Laneige Chocolate Frosting as an event gift when it was first released, and I repurchased it with my own money this Black Friday.

 

It is such a radiant chocolate lip color that it makes you immediately understand why it caused such a sensation overseas—I don't think there has ever been a domestic brand that could produce a shade like this!

 

Laneige Chocolate Frosting is not too intense a brown, so I recommend it even to those who want to try brown lipstick for the first time!!!

 

 

Colorgram Tanghulu Tangle Tint Milk 13 Janmang Peanut

 

Somehow, I ended up picking Colorgram products as both the best and the worst lol. The only reason I chose Janmang Ttangkong as the worst is "because the color payoff is so different from the initial application and after some time" … … .

 

I chose this because I was disappointed with the color payoff; when first applied, it develops into a clear, transparent beige nude lip just like the swatch on the official website, but after only 5 minutes, a reddish-orange or coral tint emerges and the pretty, clear beige shade completely disappears… … (personal preference)

 

Of course, some people might prefer the coral shade that comes out, but the initial color is so beautiful that I wished it would last until the end. It made me feel even more disappointed, so I ended up picking this as the worst.

 

 

Ongredients Skin Barrier Calming Softener

 

Since Ongredients products are so famous, I wanted to try them out, so I bought the special set containing both the Calming Softener and Lotion. However, perhaps because so many people called them "holy grail" products, I had such high expectations, but I feel like it was just an average toner...

 

I had very high expectations for it to provide deep hydration and an inner glow, but perhaps because my skin is naturally quite dry, I couldn't find any inner radiance even after layering.

 

If I am using it incorrectly, please let me know in the comments and I will try using it that way again!!!

 

Personally, I don't really prefer toners with a slippery texture, so the finish of the Calming Softener wasn't that great either :(
