[Olive Young November๐] Bought with my own money, Chugomi Clean Girl's Best/Worst Items
hello !
Today, Iโm back with the best and worst items for this chilly autumn.
The fact that I paid for everything myself ๐คง
1. Banila Co Clean It Zero Cleansing Balm
It's the Banila Co. cleansing balm.
To be honest, I used to just do a sloppy job of cleansing... I was always just scrambling to cover it up with base makeup.
So, on days when I wore heavy eye makeup, I just removed it with a remover, and for my skin, I only used a foam cleanser.
But as time went on, I noticed that the people around me with good skin all wash their faces incredibly thoroughly.
So, I started using this product after getting a recommendation, and now it has become a must-have item that I can't live without haha.
First off, the texture is firm and thick. I apply it to a dry face first, and while the cleansing balm dissolves my makeup (?), I brush my teeth lol.
After that, just wipe it off gently with lukewarm water! First of all, the cleaning power is really, really good..
I usually use foundation and even apply touch-ups on top of that, so by evening, my makeup looks thick and covered in dust, making it a mess.
If you wipe it clean with this, it removes even sunscreen well and instantly makes your skin look dull and lifeless..
I definitely felt that it removed makeup more effectively and without irritation than foam cleansers or cleansing oils.
Also, I didn't experience any breakouts or tightness after using it, so overall I am very satisfied!!
I'm selecting this as a best item haha
2. VDL Tone Stain Color Correcting Primer 02 Rose Quartz
I brought this as the worst item..
Actually, I used the VDL foundation quite a bit last year. I purchased it after hearing on YouTube that applying it before base makeup evens out the skin tone and makes it look radiant.
The coverage varies depending on the shade, but I chose shade 02 Rose Quartz. This one covers dullness and yellowness.
It definitely brightened my skin tone. However, although it is lightweight for a primer, the texture is still a bit thick, so I felt it was slightly stiff to apply after skincare and sunscreen, before base.
And rather than effectively filling in pores, it seemed closer to a tone-up product for dull skin.
Those who find it suitable will probably use it well... but personally, when I apply this, it tends to cake a bit after a while.
I actually felt that there are many other good products available for tone-up that provide a moisturizing effect.
Still, if my skin is in good condition and I apply a solid base, I think it might be okay...? I tend to prefer daily essentials, so I don't reach for it very often. Would it be okay if I mixed it with something else? Please give me some tips.
That concludes my list of best and worst items I bought with my own money!!
This is just my personal opinion, so take it with a grain of salt.. ๐
Everyone, please be careful not to catch a cold.
