Lately, I have been trying out various cushions and face masks to find products that suit my skin. I have categorized them into two best items that I was satisfied with and two worst items that were somewhat disappointing.
First off, the Mediheal Madecassoside Essential Mask is by far the best item. It quickly soothes blemishes and redness, and since it suits my sensitive skin well, I use it frequently on days when my skin breaks out! There are many types of Mediheal mask packs, but this one is perfect for my sensitive skin. After cleansing and toning my skin, I apply the mask firmly to my face and remove it after 10 to 20 minutes; my skin feels smooth and comfortable. The sheet of the Mediheal Madecassoside Essential Mask is non-irritating, and the essence has a viscous consistency that feels great as it absorbs deeply into the skin. It is a really great mask pack to use when you want to soothe irritated skin. 👍
Another best-selling item is the VDL Cover Stain Perfecting Cushion V03. The VDL Cover Stain Perfecting Cushion offers excellent coverage and adherence, ensuring your makeup lasts a long time. When patted on with a puff, it adheres thinly while neatly concealing blemishes and redness. I particularly liked that it isn't overly oily, leaving the skin with a smooth finish. However, if you have dry skin, you need to apply a sufficient base beforehand to avoid dryness. As someone with oily skin, I find it works well for me. I saw so many recommendations on social media that I decided to give it a try, but everything—coverage, resistance to creasing, and adherence—is almost perfect, so I'm already on my second one. My skin is on the darker side, so I use shade 23; however, I've had many failed attempts with cushions on the market because most shades were lighter than my skin tone. But this cushion is similar to my natural skin tone, which I really appreciated. 😊😊
On the other hand, the first product I picked as my worst item is the Innisfree Vitamin C Serum Gel Mask. I purchased it because I was drawn to claims that it brightens skin tone and reduces blemishes, but the actual user experience fell short of my expectations. Although the gel-type sheet adheres well to the skin, it felt stifling because a slight stickiness lingered for a long time after use and absorption was slow. Perhaps due to the irritation characteristic of Vitamin C, I also felt a slight stinging sensation after use, and the immediate tone-up effect wasn't significant. They say you need to use it consistently to see results, but it was disappointing to get that level of satisfaction from just one mask. Maybe because my skin is sensitive, it just didn't suit me well.😭
Lastly, the Bring Green Tea Tree Cica Tone-Up Sun Cushion is a decent but worst item. Although it offers both tone-up and UV protection, it clumps slightly when applied and leaves a white cast. If reapplied multiple times, it looks cakey and lacks adherence, making it inconvenient to use for touch-ups. While the Bring Green Tea Tree Cica Tone-Up Sun Cushion helps soothe breakouts, it fell somewhat short of providing a natural-looking finish.
In conclusion, the Mediheal Madecassoside Essential Mask and VDL Cover Stain Perfecting Cushion V03 are best items that I confidently recommend! On the other hand, the Innisfree Vitamin C Serum Gel Mask and Bring Green Tea Tree Cica Tone Up Sun Cushion were worst items that didn't quite suit my skin.
