Night care recommendations from a woman who is serious about night careโœจ๐ŸŒƒ

Hello, this is Stylish Tomato! Today, Iโ€™d like to recommend a must-have item for my night care routine! First off, I have extremely dry skin and my lips are prone to dead skin cells, so I am really serious about both skincare and lip exfoliation. If I apply matte lipstick and it settles into my lip flaking and doesn't look good, I end up dissatisfied with my makeup for the day, so I make sure to take care of my lip exfoliation consistently!

So, the two absolute must-have night care items Iโ€™d like to recommend to you today are Etudeโ€™s Ginger Sugar Overnight Lip Mask and Round Labโ€™s Black Soybean Panthenol Cream. The Black Soybean Panthenol Cream is one of my absolute favorites that I also recommended in my previous post about barrier care items; however, since Iโ€™ve already introduced it once, I plan to focus primarily on the Ginger Sugar Overnight Lip Mask today! (If you are curious about a more detailed review of the Round Lab Black Soybean Panthenol Cream, please check out my barrier care recommendation post!)

Etude's Ginger Sugar Overnight Lip Mask is so famous that it is called a "national favorite," so I assume you have likely heard of or used it at least once. In my case, I also tried lip masks from Plant Nara and Laneige, but I wasn't very satisfied with them. However, after using Etude's Ginger Sugar Overnight Lip Mask just once, I settled on it and have been using it consistently ever since.

Can you feel how much I've used it...? Haha. I've been using it for quite a while, but the quantity is really large so it doesn't seem to be running out quickly!

Etude's Ginger Sugar Overnight Lip Mask is certainly great to use as a lip balm during the day, but due to its very thick and heavy texture, it gets on your hair and is actually quite difficult to apply during the day. However, you can see truly noticeable results when using it for night care! ๐ŸŒƒ
In my case, after finishing my entire skincare routine before going to sleep, I take an appropriate amount of the product with a cotton swab, apply it evenly to my lips, and then fall asleep. Then, when I wake up in the morning, the dead skin cells on my lips have softened. So, I gently rub them with a wet wipe (make sure to use a wet wipe, as tissues stick to them and water is too slippery to clean properly!). The white dead skin cells come off, leaving my lips incredibly plump and completely free of any dryness!! You can achieve a perfect base for your lips that won't cake or crack no matter what lipstick you apply over it, so I highly recommend this as a night care item!!โค๏ธ

Secondly, Round Lab's Black Soybean Panthenol Cream contains panthenolโ€”enough to be called a "barrier cream"โ€”making it an effective product for improving a compromised skin barrier! I usually follow my night skincare routine in the order of Toner Pad - Serum 1 - Serum 2 - Lotion - Black Soybean Panthenol Cream, so I apply this product last. It is really thick, so I think if you apply it in the middle of your routine, the products applied afterward won't absorb well!

The Black Bean Panthenol Cream has a thick and slightly heavy texture, so I recommend it only for those with dry skin during the summer!

This has been the cool tomato. Thank you!๐Ÿ…
