Amorepacific’s luxury cosmetics brand Sulwhasoo announced on the 13th that, following the unveiling of its new brand image (BI), it has selected Hollywood actress Tilda Swinton as its global ambassador.
The company explained, “We selected Tilda Swinton as a global ambassador to spread Sulwhasoo’s unique beauty heritage, which began in 1932, and its innovative artistic spirit.”
Sulwhasoo is scheduled to release a new brand video featuring Tilda Swinton this month. It is said that she, who had experienced Sulwhasoo after receiving recommendations even before being selected as a global ambassador, expressed deep empathy and affection for the brand's values while filming the video.
Sulwhasoo recently made radical changes to its cosmetic packaging and advertising images to target the global market. It also revamped its global ambassador lineup, adding Tilda Swinton following Blackpink's Rosé last year.
