Appropriate cleansing temperature for each skin type

1. Dry skin  

Use lukewarm water at 15°C, just warm enough to feel warm. If the temperature is too high, the skin becomes even drier. Avoid washing your face with soap and use a gentle lotion type. It is recommended to use a hydrating foam cleanser that produces a rich lather.

 

2. Oily skin  

Use warm water between 20°C and 30°C to remove impurities and makeup. Using cold water during the final rinsing step helps shrink pores. It is recommended to use a cleansing oil or gel-type cleanser for oily skin.

 

3. Acne-prone skin  

To remove sebum, which is the cause of acne, it is advisable to use lukewarm water at 20°C. Use ice water for the final step. Acne-prone skin requires a step to effectively constrict open pores, and ice water has an effect of soothing inflammation. Remove makeup with a gentle water cleanser, open the pores with warm water, and then cleanse by massaging with lather.
