A moisturizing and soothing base routine that helps even sensitive skin apply makeup well in the morning 🫧
Hello! I'm Yodaning!
My skin tends to be sensitive, so I pay a lot of attention to my basic skincare products when I do my makeup in the morning!
If I apply too much base makeup, the foundation cakes, but conversely, if I don't moisturize properly, my skin gets dry in the afternoon and my makeup looks patchy...
So lately, I've been following a routine where I hydrate my skin while applying a base that is as thin and light as possible, and I wanted to share it with you all!
1. Daiso Curerest Moisture Soothing Bubble Essence Toner
It is the first product I use after washing my face!
It is a bubble type, so it is more fun to use than a regular water toner, and it is great to use as the first step to replenish moisture to the skin.
I gently spread it with my hands to help it absorb into my entire skin. In the mornings, my skin sometimes feels dry or tight after washing my face, but since this provides hydration as the first step of my skincare routine, it makes applying the next products much easier!!
2. Medicare Job's Tears Cream
After toner, I add moisture with Job's Tears cream! In the morning, if you apply too much cream, the BB cream might cake, so I tend to take just an appropriate amount and spread it thinly.
I pay extra attention to applying it to areas where I am particularly concerned about dryness. Since it serves as the final step in my skincare routine to keep my skin moisturized and prevent dryness, I never skip using it.
3. Daiso Fushiderm Barrier Repair BB Cream (Today's main product💗)
Finally, the star of today's routine! It's the Daiso Fushiderm Barrier Repair BB Cream!
I have sensitive skin, so when choosing base products, I place particular importance on skin finish and texture.
If it applies too thickly or feels like it is just sitting on the surface of my skin, it bothers me all day long.
When using this product, I apply small amounts at a time and spread it thinly, rather than applying a large amount at once.
I found that applying it this way makes it easy to control the amount on the desired areas and prevents the base from becoming too thick.
In particular, what I consider important when using BB cream is the skin finish. I like to cover blemishes or redness by layering small amounts on areas I am concerned about, and apply a thin layer all over my face to create a natural base.
I find that gradually replenishing moisture from the basics in the morning before applying BB cream makes me feel much more at ease than applying base makeup immediately when my skin is dry! Since I have sensitive skin, choosing the right base was always a struggle, but paying attention to the basic steps like this is my own routine for achieving flawless makeup!
What skincare products do you use before applying base makeup in the morning? I’d love to get recommendations for base products that even sensitive skin can use without any issues.🩷

- 01CommentsThat's right. If you use the body cream from the same line together, you can enjoy the scent for a longer time and take care of the moisturization as well, so it's killing two birds with one stone.1165726.10.16
