A night layering routine that completely eliminates inner dryness during the dry change of seasons
As the weather gets colder, many of you are probably experiencing severe inner skin tightness or makeup flaking, right? As someone with sensitive, dry skin, I also suffered a lot from internal dryness during the change of seasons. I’d like to introduce my personal night care routine that transformed my skin into firm, supple skin, whereas before all the products I tried just felt like they were sitting on the surface. The key is not to apply a lot of products, but to layer them by timing the absorption.
Step 1: After cleansing, refine texture and apply a hydration pack with a toner pad.
Immediately after cleansing, gently refine your skin texture with a hydrating toner pad while your skin is still damp. Then, place the pad on your cheeks, where dryness is most severe, for 3 minutes to provide initial hydration. Doing this significantly enhances the absorption of subsequent products.
Step 2: Replenish inner moisture with essence layering
Dispense an appropriate amount of the lightweight hydrating essence onto your palm and gently pat it onto your entire face to aid absorption. The key here is not to apply a large amount at once, but to layer it thinly in two coats. You can feel inner dryness being effectively addressed, and a firm sense of hydration rising from deep within the skin.
Step 3: Mix facial oil with moisturizing cream to form a barrier
Finally, mix just 1 to 2 drops of facial oil into your usual moisturizing cream and apply it to your entire face, enveloping it gently. An oil film forms to protect your skin and prevent moisture from evaporating overnight. You will wake up the next morning with smooth and hydrated skin.
