Achieve healthy skin with the right cleansing routine 💪🏼
hello @seooyouu___ It is 🪽
How do you wash your face when you wake up in the morning and when you remove your makeup in the evening? When I wake up, my skin is covered in oil, and by evening, it's just my T-zone that's oily, so if I wash with only one product, my skin feels tight or irritated 🥲
Cleansing but not too drying! Let me introduce my favorite facial cleansing products 🤍
First up is the Acnes Clear & White Foaming Wash that I use as my morning cleanser!
This product is a lightweight foam cleanser with a bubble formula featuring really fine particles. I recommend it to those who want their skin to feel a bit more fresh and clean after washing with a gel cleanser in the morning, but feel unsatisfied with just rinsing with water!
The bubbles are this fine, and since it's a foam cleanser from a brand for sensitive skin, it's low-irritation, so I found it great for cleanly removing just the oil in the morning! I didn't really feel any tightness after washing my face 🫧
Second is the B.Plain Mung Bean Mild Acidic Cleansing Foam, which I use as an evening face wash!
This is my absolute favorite product that I'm already on my third bottle of!! 🤍 It contains mung bean granules that aren't irritating, so I love using it because it feels like it cleanly removes makeup right down to the pores when I cleanse.
People with sensitive skin might avoid products containing granules or scrubs because they can be irritating. However, since this product is mildly acidic, it doesn't leave the skin feeling too squeaky clean, which I liked because it didn't seem to strip away much moisture. Also, as I mentioned earlier, thanks to the granules, it seems to provide a much cleaner cleanse!
However, since using cleansing oil or balm for the first cleansing step might feel irritating, I recommend that those using this cleansing foam use cleansing milk for their first wash! 🤍
I tend to switch cleansing foams depending on my condition that day, so on days when I only wear sunscreen, I remove it with a milk cleanser and finish with Acnes Foam, or do it like this!! 😎
As someone with acne-prone, sensitive, and dehydrated skin, this is the routine I settled on after trying various products, so I think it would be really helpful for those of you struggling to choose a foam cleanser 🩵
