My own routine for touching up my makeup without clumping when it wears off 🌟
I'm also stressed about my makeup wearing off in the summer.
My real concern was that my makeup just got messier when I touched it up.
Warning: Photo
Especially the sides of the nose and the corners of the mouth
It's not that you get prettier the more you layer the cushion.
It felt a bit lumpy and stuck... I actually fixed it!!! You can really tell the difference.
In the past, whenever oil rose to the surface, I used to pat the cushion right away.
I think that was the biggest problem lol
Lately, I just changed the order a little, and it happens much less often.
Control the oil first before touching up‼️
First off, I heard that oil has risen to my face.
It seems like it almost always goes wrong if you apply the cushion right away...
I use blotting paper or tissue before making corrections
Gently press only the forehead, nose, and chin areas.
It doesn't feel like rubbing, but like really pressing down!
Especially if you wipe the sides of your nose hard
The existing base peeled off along with it, making it even more stained.
So I just did it to remove the oil.
Do not rub any lifted parts with your fingers; instead, smooth them out with a puff.
If you rub the lifted parts of the base with your hand
It often looked like dead skin cells.
So, before I apply the cushion...
With a clean puff or the dry side of an existing cushion puff
First, gently tap the raised area.
Once you organize it like this,
There is much less clumping even when layering the cushion.
There is actually quite a big difference compared to reapplying it right away.
For cushions, just fill in the empty spots rather than applying a fresh coat‼️
If you reapply the cushion to your entire face when touching up
I usually don't do it because it tends to look thick.
Apply just a tiny bit to the puff
After pouring some onto the back of your hand or the lid,
Lightly fill in only the faded areas, such as the sides of the nose, corners of the mouth, and the chin.
If you tap it multiple times out of greed for the cover
Since it started getting thicker again from then on
I just filled it in so it wouldn't be noticeable lol
Apply the final powder only where absolutely necessary‼️
After finishing the touch-up, apply powder all over.
It looks soft at first, but
Over time, I felt like my cheeks were drying out and cracking.
ㅠㅠ
So I only... the forehead and around the nose.
Gently press with a small brush or puff
I tend to avoid touching my cheeks or the corners of my mouth as much as possible.
If you do this, your makeup won't look completely fresh by the afternoon, but
At least the feeling of tightness and clumping has decreased a lot haha
If there are people whose makeup gets messier every time they touch it up
Don't apply the cushion first.
Remove oil → Clean up lifted areas → Fill in only the erased spots
I recommend trying it in this order!
