My personal 3-minute moisture layering tip to reduce makeup creasing
People with dry or combination skin often find that even if they spend a lot of time applying makeup in the morning, it becomes cakey or cracked by the afternoon. The method I have been consistently following for several months is not to apply a lot of skincare products, but to control the absorption time.
After cleansing, soak a cotton pad with toner to refine your skin texture and wait for about 30 seconds. Then, apply a thin layer of moisturizer using a smaller amount than usual and let it absorb for about 1 minute. Instead of applying makeup immediately, lightly spray a mist once and press it into your skin with your palms to help absorption; this will leave your skin hydrated from within without feeling sticky on the surface.
After applying sunscreen and base makeup, my skin looks much more natural, and the flaking around my nose and mouth has significantly decreased. I recommend this method because you can achieve it sufficiently using only products you already have at home, without having to purchase expensive items!
