Soothing routine for when my skin breaks out (tried it myself and stuck with it) ๐Ÿซง

My skin often breaks out suddenly during seasonal changes or when I'm not feeling well, so after trying various things, I've pretty much settled on this routine now.

 

This is the most effective method when I needed to calm down urgently.

 

  1. Wash your face as gently and briefly as possible

 

When my skin was breaking out, it was important to wash my face quickly with a gentle cleansing foam rather than a product with strong cleansing power.

 

At this point, lather thoroughly with your hands, then wash it off by rolling the foam over your face without rubbing.

 

The key point is not to spend too much time washing your face.

 

  1. Apply toner in multiple layers without wiping.

 

When my skin is sensitive, wiping it with toner actually irritates it, so I switched from using cotton pads to applying it with my hands for absorption.

 

Instead of applying a large amount at once, layering small amounts 3 to 4 times will make your skin much more comfortable.

 

  1. Hydration serum โ†’ Cream, apply thinly several times

 

At this time, avoid oily products and apply a moisture-focused serum first.

 

Next, instead of applying a thick layer of cream all at once, if you apply thin layers 2 to 3 times, it feels like the moisture is replenished without feeling heavy or stuffy.

 

  1. Use a 'short cooling pack' when you feel hot

 

When redness appears and you feel a burning sensation, use a refrigerated mask pack for only about 5 to 10 minutes.

 

It was more effective to soothe briefly rather than leaving it on for a long time, and I finished with cream immediately after use.

 

  1. Manage until the next morning

 

If I focused on moisturizing before bed, I definitely experienced less redness and breakouts the next morning.

 

Even in the morning, wash your face lightly and avoid irritating products as much as possible.

 

With this routine, even skin that has completely broken out tends to calm down significantly within a day or two, so these days I make sure to manage it this way whenever my skin condition is poor.
