A makeup enthusiast's💄 Cleansing & Sunscreen Routine ✨

Today, I’ve brought you my cleansing and sunscreen routine—I’m absolutely serious about makeup 🤍

 

I have sensitive skin prone to redness! I think this will be especially helpful for those of you with similar skin types. So let's get right to it!

 

The first one is the Ponds Lip & Eye Makeup Remover—something I use exclusively, as someone who is very serious about eye makeup! I know it is the most popular lip and eye remover at Olive Young, and I love it so much that I use only this one consistently myself. It has great cleansing power and isn't irritating at all.

 

If you look at the picture now, there are layers, so when washing your face

 

You are supposed to shake it like this before using it.

To be honest, I'm too lazy to use a cotton pad, so I just apply it to a tissue every day lol, but it still removes makeup really well. I've gotten some in my eyes a few times while trying to remove it, but it didn't sting that much! It's that less irritating, so it seems like a really good product for removing eye makeup.

So, I cleverly stocked up on two Ponds Lip & Eye Removers again haha.

It is totally possible to thoroughly remove everything from mascara to eyeshadow !!

 

The second one is Make Prem Safe Me Relief Moisture Cleansing Milk 🧴

 

As I mentioned, I have sensitive skin prone to redness. I used to use cleansing oil, but at an aesthetic clinic I visited by chance, they recommended cleansing milk instead, saying it is less irritating!

 

So since then, I've switched from oil to milk for washing my face, and cleansing milk definitely seemed less irritating than oil.

 

So, this is also my absolute must-have that I’m actually on my Nth bottle of: Make Prem Cleansing Milk haha.

As you can see on the container, it is perfectly slightly acidic with a pH of 5.5, so it is less irritating. Also, you know that for sensitive skin, actions that cause friction, like wiping with a cotton pad, are really bad, right?!

 

But I really like cleansing milk because you don't have to do any of that; you just roll it around with your hands and rinse with lukewarm water.

 

Please make sure to follow the instructions for using cleansing milk! First, ensure your hands and face are dry, squeeze a sufficient amount onto the stain, and gently roll it in with your hands.

 

Also, since emulsification is necessary, wet your hands a little lukewarm water and roll it around again, and finally, rinse your face. I highly recommend this for your first cleanse!

Then, I suppose you’ll go in search of a sunscreen that isn’t just any sunscreen, but one that makes your makeup apply well, right?!

So, I’d like to introduce the sunscreen I’m currently using that makes your makeup apply so well!

 

It is the Goodal Clear Houttuynia Cordata Soothing Moisture Sun Cream.

 

I recently switched to this one from my usual sunscreen because I heard it helps your makeup apply well, and it seems pretty good!

 

It has this kind of texture and there is no white cast.

 

True to its name as a hydrating sunscreen, it applies moisturizingly just like a real skincare product. There is absolutely none of that sticky, thick feeling typical of sunscreens.

 

You can see in the photo how perfectly moisturizing it finishes, right?! It really feels like you've applied a cream to your face, so there's no stickiness at all. It was great because even when I applied base prep right on top, it didn't cake or cake. It really feels like it's famous as a sunscreen that makes makeup apply well for a reason!

 

If you are looking for a moisturizing sunscreen that makes your makeup apply well, I highly recommend this.
