Romand is famous as a master of color cosmetics and has been releasing great eyebrow products and mascaras lately, so I bought this because I was curious about the fixer mascara.
It seems like the eyebrow product is more famous than the Hanol Fix Mascara, and I bought it because the reviews didn't seem bad. At the time of purchase, it was part of a special set with an eyelash curler, so it seemed like the reaction was better.
I think I had higher expectations because I heard they were good at curling.
First of all, the matte silver body curler has legs that spread out really well, and
The curvature of the curler is just right and wide, matching its long legs, so it was actually comfortable to use even on my chubby eyelids.
The fixer mascara is the L02 Long Ash color.
The brush is smaller and slimmer than typical mascaras, and contrary to the name, it isn't a pure black but closer to gray. I heard that this color is natural for those whose lashes look unnatural when using black mascara.
At first, I really liked that the brush was small and dense, so it went on powerfully and applied evenly to each strand without clumping.
I really liked it because even after half a day had passed since applying it, the curl retention was good and it didn't seem to smudge.
But... this is where the problem begins.
It does harden over time, but I'm not sure if it hardens stickily or just didn't dry completely. Some powder falls onto my lower lashes, and they get tangled with my lower eyelashes when I blink.
And... another reason why I have no choice but to give it a low rating is...
You know how your eyelashes turn white when foundation or eyeshadow gets on them after applying mascara? Since it's an ash color, it feels a bit out of place, like there are tiny bits of white smeared on them.
Also, since the curling hold is so strong, cleansing it is really hard.
I have to use three cotton pads soaked in lip and eye remover to remove everything.
A product that makes the eye area look messy but doesn't actually cleanse well...
It's absurd, yet even fascinating.
