November Spending Review✨ Great Buys Voted by My Wallet vs. Things I Regretted Not Buying (Including Black Friday!)
hello :)
I'm Ttaniya, a member of the 10th Supporters group for Unnie's Pouch!
Today, I'm going to do a spending review by looking back at the products I bought with my own money throughout November! Especially since this month included Olive Young's Black Friday🤩 So, I'm going to sort out the great purchases I was satisfied with and the ones I regretted not buying!🫶🏻

First great purchase!
It is none other than 'Laka Maxi Glare Tint #606 Meaning'!
Since I have thin lips, I tend to fill them in with a matte lipstick as a base and apply a glow tint on top; among them, the product that particularly stood out for its shine was the Laka Maxi Glare Tint!
What I especially loved was that it gave my lips a beautiful, voluminous shine without being sticky! Glossy lipsticks usually tend to have a very rich and sticky texture, but this one was relatively light and moisturizing!
Also, I tend to prefer muted, warm shades over bright ones! This lipstick has a subtle rosy tint that makes it the perfect MLBB shade, so it's great for everyday use without feeling too heavy. Isn't the color absolutely gorgeous?🥹 When applied to the lips, it brightens up your complexion so naturally! I seriously acknowledge this as a great purchase‼️

Second great purchase!
It's the 'VDL Cheek Stain Blusher Mini #07 Misty Apricot'! (Black Friday purchase)
I had my eye on this product for a while and really wanted to buy it! I managed to purchase it during Black Friday for a super low price of 9,390 won (original price 13,000 won) 🥹 Even though it is a mini size, I tend to use powder blush for a very long time once I buy it, and I actually liked the mini version because it looks so cute!
Since it's the mini version, it's only half the size of the tint, but it has a sticker on the mirror and a small magnet attached, so it was convenient to open and close!
Now, I’m going to show you the swatches of the 'VDL Cheek Stain Blusher Mini #07 Misty Apricot'! When swatched on the wrist, it looks like an apricot color with a lot of white undertones, but when applied over skin after base makeup, it goes on as an incredibly soft and radiant shade..❤️ I recommend it more for warm tones than cool tones! Especially since I’m an autumn muted type who absolutely loves apricot coral shades, I think I’ll be reaching for this often for daily use!

Now, I’m going to talk about the items I couldn’t buy because I was more disappointed than I thought. (Actually, just venting😭)
First item I couldn't buy!
It is none other than the 'Colorgram Tintory Eye Palette #05 Fairy Tori'!
I bought this product because I really wanted it since it's a color I don't usually use, plus I was tempted by the incredibly low price of 4,150 won during Black Friday (original price 14,000 won)! First off, the individual shades of the eyeshadows were very pretty. With their bright, vibrant colors, it's the perfect product for creating a lovely, romantic vibe!
However... the jelly products I was really looking forward to (Sparkling Jelly Star, Blue Jelly) fell a bit short of my expectations. In particular, the 'Sparkling Jelly Star' color felt more like applying Vaseline to me rather than having a glittery feel! In a way, you could say it is subtle, but to me, it felt like an oily shine, so I really disliked it. Also, instead of fine pearl particles embedded in it, the pearls were scattered sparsely, so it gave off a slightly tacky vibe.
And regarding the Colorgram Tintory Eye Palette #05 Fairy Tori, while each color has its own charm, I felt like the shades all clashed together when using it as a single palette! In particular, the pink shadow and the blue jelly color didn't feel like they went well together. It was like they were all saying, "This is the color I am! Everyone, I'm right here!" lol. Anyway, it might be because I have a warm undertone, but I definitely don't think I'll reach for it often.😭

Second item I couldn't buy!
It is none other than 'Nonore Shine Rock Lip Tint #002 Rosy Nut'!
I happened to stop by Olive Young and was testing out various items when I spotted this product and immediately bought it because the color was totally my style! It looked so pretty with a moderately toned-down rosy hue that had a hint of brown in it.
However...😭 After coming home and applying it carefully, I noticed that the texture feels more intense than clear and transparent. So, while the color looks subtle with just one coat, it felt darker and heavier the more I applied it. I think people who prefer distinct colors over a subtle lip look, or those with naturally strong lip colors, would actually like this more!
And one more thing! I generally don't prefer products with strong pigmentation. Since I like mixing different products, if one item has intense staining, the color tends to change from how it looked when I do touch-ups! 🥹 However, the staining power of this product is truly incredible… Even so, the stained color remained unchanged, staying exactly as a toned-down rosy shade! (I really dislike products that stain and turn pink.)

So, I’ve summarized my great purchases and bad purchases together today! To be honest, regarding the items I didn't buy, it’s not that the products themselves are bad; rather, it’s just that I have mixed feelings about them depending on my skin type and preferences. So, for both my great and bad purchases, I hope you make sure to test them out before buying and find the cosmetics that suit you best.🤍
