가볍곺산뜻한 꽃비누향... 너무좋겠는데요
Elizabeth Arden Green Tea Citron Freesia EDT
First of all, I really love the Green Tea perfume series. I tend to buy the collections released every year, and this year it’s none other than Citron Freesia. Citrus and freesia—it’s a combination of things I like plus things I like, so I couldn't help but buy it right away.
In conclusion, it smells like moist floral soap. Contrary to my expectations, it was the least citrusy of the green tea perfumes I own, and the scent lingered throughout, resembling floral soap dissolved in water—something I felt I had smelled somewhere before. Immediately after spraying, the lemon scent hits the nose quickly and then vanishes. It happens like lightning—very, too quickly. Then, the floral soap scent slowly rises, but it wasn't the freesia scent I was expecting. The bottle is bursting with fresh yellow, yet the lemon scent disappears before I can even properly taste it, and it turns out to be floral soap... The scent itself was fine, but perhaps because it was so different from what I expected, I was slightly disappointed.
To be honest, I wouldn't have been disappointed if the word "Citron" hadn't been in the name. The scent itself isn't bad. In fact, it was a clean floral soap scent with a subtle watery undertone, which was close to the kind of scent I prefer. However, considering it bears the name "Citron," the lemon scent disappeared so quickly that I felt cheated. This is my review of Citron Freesia.
It might seem like I only gave negative reviews, but I actually used it quite a bit this summer haha. The scents in the Green Tea Collection all have a clean and refreshing feel, but this one has a soapy scent, so it was great to spray liberally when I was sweating. If you line it up on your vanity with Green Tea Pomegranate, Nectar, and Original Green Tea, it looks pretty, like a rainbow with red, orange, yellow, and green.
I wouldn't recommend it if you're expecting a citrus scent, but I do if you like a light and clean floral soap scent.
