The holy grail item I found when black felt too heavy: Chanel Lip & Cheek Balm!

I am a winter cool tone in my 50s.

I have a favorite beauty item that I reach for every day these days, so I wanted to share a tip.

When I was younger, I thought crisp black clothes and bright lipstick were the best combination, but as time passed, I realized that black clothes make my impression too harsh, and matte lipstick accentuates my wrinkles. ㅠㅠ

Then, the one I finally settled on was the Chanel Lip and Cheek Balm. The color I use is Red Camellia, and since using it, I've been hearing a lot of people say that the color suits me well.

I'll share my own little tips for using it.

1. Use your 'finger' instead of a tool.

It looks much prettier to dab it on with your fingertips and spread it from the center of your lips outwards, rather than applying it precisely with a brush. The transparency characteristic of the balm formula comes through, making it look natural, just like your own natural lip color.

2. Try matching it with navy and gray clothes.

Try wearing navy or charcoal instead of black and applying this rosewood color. If you have a cool undertone, you will experience the magic of your face looking two shades brighter.

3. 'Cool Beige' rather than ivory

I often wear beige-toned clothes these days, and if I wear sand beige or gray-beige outfits with all the yellow undertones removed and lightly pat this balm on, my skin tone comes alive and looks radiant.

There is no better lifesaver than this when heavy makeup feels burdensome but bare skin looks dull.

Try applying it with your fingertips. It will brighten up your mood.블랙이 무거워질 때 찾은 인생템, 샤넬 립 앤 치크 밤!
