겨울웜톤도 있고 겨울쿨톤도 있군요 봐도 봐도 어렵네요
I'm curious about how to do makeup for a Winter Cool Personal Color.
I'm curious about how to do makeup for a Winter Cool Personal Color.
Is it very difficult for Winter Warm tones to do their makeup like Winter Cool tones?
I recently had my personal color analyzed, and I was told I am a Winter Warm Tone.
My skin tends to have a yellowish tint, so I'm actually dissatisfied with it and envy fair skin.
I've heard that colors like deep red, dark brown, and dark khaki generally suit winter warm tones well.
At least when it comes to makeup, I want to overcome my personal color and try winter cool-toned makeup.
I generally have no major complaints about my clothing or accessories since I pull them off well, but when it comes to makeup, I'm trying to attempt a winter cool-toned look that gives off a slightly cynical or chic vibe, and it's so difficult.
Since Winter Cool Tones, also known as True Winter, are known for having a distinct contrast between white and black and suiting cool, blue-based tones best, I tried minimizing the yellow undertones in my skin, applying a vivid bluish-pink or burgundy to my lips, and using silver or gray eyeshadows around my eyes, but they really didn't suit me.
The problem was, as expected, that since I have a warm-toned base, I rashly used cool-toned colors based solely on information found online. As a result, my complexion looked dull and my makeup felt unnatural on my skin, making me feel embarrassed to go out.
I realized that blindly applying bright pink blush or silver pearls like a silver mackerel to look like a cool tone actually backfires.
I am posting this question because I am curious about makeup techniques and color combinations that allow someone like me with a Winter Warm undertone to maximize the Winter Cool look without significantly altering my natural tone.
What are the makeup techniques and color combinations that make a winter warm-toned base look like a winter cool-toned one?
