(My Own Money-Bought Failed Item) Eye Recipe Aqua Phytoflex Cream In Toner

I’d like to introduce I Recipe’s Aqua Phytoplex Cream-in-Toner, a truly regrettable "my own money" failure. My skin type is sensitive combination skin (oily T-zone, dry cheeks). Because of this, I think I tried a lot of different products in an attempt to find a skincare routine that would replenish moisture and oil without causing breakouts. I purchased this product at a time when many cream-and-toner combinations were being released—products that were moisturizing and provided oil, though not quite all-in-ones. I bought it trusting the reviews that claimed it was moisturizing and provided oil. I used it with high expectations because it was advertised as a product that even provided gentle exfoliation. However, starting from the second day, I noticed oil rising in certain areas (sides of my nose and forehead), and after about 3-4 days, small pimples began to appear.

It didn't seem to suit my skin well, as I experienced localized redness and noticeable flaking in those areas. It was an experience that made me realize that even products with good ingredients can have very different effects depending on the user's skin type.

I know it was a popular product with good reviews, but I was so upset because it didn't suit me. I couldn't let go of the idea and tried using it again after some time had passed, but it eventually ended up being a product kept safely tucked away in a drawer. I remember reordering the toner I had used before with tears in my eyes.
