Are there any skincare products that are good for skin troubles?

I've had a big pimple next to my nose lately, and it's so stressful.

I've tried a lot of different products that are said to be good for skin troubles, but

Tea tree oil didn't suit me well, perhaps because it was too irritating.

My friend asked about the EasyDerm needle acne patch? The one with needles?

I heard that's good, so I'm thinking of trying it out.

Hearing the word "needle" makes me think it will hurt, so I can't use it.

Please recommend any products you always use for spot care.
