What color lip tint do you use?

What shades do you use for lip tints or lipsticks? I mostly use coral. Actually, when I watch American TV shows, I see green and orange shades, but when I apply them, they look like that grayish japchae, so I haven't even tried them. As for red, it suits me okay, but I don't really reach for it. Do you guys just use one shade of lip tint? Or do you use it for a gradient effect?
