Velvet Tint

Romand's Zero Velvet Tint, Vintage Filter

Among the various shades, the one I use is No. 24 Fade Red. They say it’s a faded red, but when you actually use it, it’s a really ambiguous and mysterious color that’s hard to define exactly right away. It has a really soft velvet texture, so I think it's the best for a smooth and comfortable application. However, because the formula applies quite softly, it doesn't feel like it adheres to the skin as well as I'd like. It glides on easily even when spread with fingers, and the tint formula adhered to the creases pretty quickly. Also, the color payoff is amazing! I think the lip color will vary quite a bit depending on how much you use.

I like the texture and finish, but the color feels a bit too vibrant to be called a sophisticated shade. It also looks like it has some toned-down plum undertones in it, so anyway... I don't know why the color is called Fade Red! Still, I am satisfied with how the tint feels on me!
