Calling all Summer Cool Mutes! Sharing the lip product that gets you asking for the information when you wear it out.

I am Summer Cool Mute It is! Different from others It doesn't suit mob. So, I’m going to recommend a non-mauve muted lip color that I’ve been searching for all by myself for a long time!

Lukewarm lipsticks don't suit me well... (especially bunny tongue and pink lipsticks...) and lipsticks that are too bright don't suit me either. So, I spent a long time searching for a shade that fits me somewhere in between.

​

There are quite a few lipsticks I bought that have 'Mauve' in their names, but I tried to exclude mauves with a strong purple tint as much as possible!

 

I tried to edit this to be as close to the actual color as possible!

For reference, my skin tone is between shade 17 and 21.

But my arms got really tanned from wearing short sleeves lately... so it came out a bit dark haha. Please understand.

Perfect for Summer Cool Mute

Stripped of the baby pink, a subtle pink like red (dried rose)

It's mostly lipsticks! Mauve doesn't really suit me, so I tried to exclude anything with a mauve tint as much as possible!

 

 

1. Bear Grape @Romand

This is Romand's most popular color, right?! Everyone around me with cool undertones seems to have at least one of these!

But personally, it’s not a color that suits me well.

It's actually quite warm for a cool-toned lipstick! I'd say it's great for warm-toned people who want to wear a cool-toned lip!

​

Also, the staying power of Bear Grape is too weak.. It seems to completely wear off within an hour when applied to the lips...

 

 

2. Custard Mauve @Romand

I didn't buy it when I tested it at Olive Young because it didn't suit me at all (the color payoff seemed too weak and ambiguous to me...).

I bought one on Coupang because of a huge discount (purchased for 4,000 won!), thinking "it’s no big deal if it fails!", but... it suits me so well! I’ve been using it a lot lately!

The color changes slightly from when you first apply it to after some time!

 

 

3. Mobish @Romand

I don't like matte lipsticks... I find that distinctive crumbly texture of matte tints really uncomfortable! (It has a unique texture different from lipstick...) But I heard Romand products are good, so I gave this a try!

The color payoff is super intense! I keep scooping it out to use it!

If you apply the product immediately after it comes off, only your lips really stand out on your face, so if you adjust the amount and apply it lightly as a base, the staying power is really good!

​

But I think this would be good for those who suit cool winter tones! It does have a bit of a vibrant kick!

 

4. Pig Pig @Romand

The Pig Pig shade is exactly the color of a fig?! It feels like the subtle warm tones from Bear Grape have been completely stripped away!

There are many lip products with "Fig" in the name that have a pinkish tint.

Pig Pig has a muted red-pink vibe before the pink tint?!

​

And Pig Pig... the staying power is insane...

I tested it at 11 PM, and my lips were so dark until lunchtime the next day... so I had to neutralize the lip color with foundation before applying it... haha.

The staying power is seriously insane!

The color payoff is so intense, so I make sure to control the amount I use!

5. Seoul Girl @Amuse

Seoul Girl is my favorite lipstick!

It's the best when I apply this before going out! My friends around me also ask what lipstick I'm wearing whenever I wear this!!

The color on my lips is the real deal, rather than the Seoul Girl shade!

Not too pink, just the right amount of pink with a luxurious vibe!

I was surprised because the case color was so strawberry milk-like, but the actual color payoff is completely different!

6. Mauve Night Walking Path @Peripera

This lipstick really doesn't suit me!

Nevertheless, the reason I wrote this here is... if you apply this to a cool-toned lip that doesn't suit you, it darkens slightly, takes on a grayish tint, and becomes muted, just like using Downer!
