[Summer Cool Tint Review] Romand Juicy Colorlasting Tint #23 Bare Grape
I have combination skin and use shade 21 foundation. It suits Autumn Mute to Summer Mute tones well, and it is great for applying lightly even without makeup, but it is also a perfect match for layering over full makeup, so it is a product I reach for often.
I purchased the pre-renewal package at a duty-free shop, and I had no complaints because it had more volume than the current one and I was satisfied with the color. However, the design of the current renewed package isn't to my taste.
But Romand The chronic problem unique to the Juicy Lasting Tint line There is. It is precisely because of the ingredients.
At first, I thought it was because my lips were in bad condition, but after applying it several times, I realized the cause was this tint. When I applied it, the edges of my lips felt itchy and slightly swollen. Later, when I looked at the ingredients list, Denatured alcohol + Preservative (Phenoxyethanol) + Synthetic tar dye + Fragrance It contained a combination. It's quite a heavy combination for sensitive lips, especially Red tar dyes + flavorings + denatured alcohol They say that when these combine, it can cause itching and swelling similar to an allergic reaction, and in severe cases, even cheilitis. The symptoms I experienced matched this pattern exactly. If you have sensitive lips, I really think you should test it first.
Nevertheless, Romand really pulls off amazing colors. Bear Grape goes without saying, but popular shades like Jujube and Papaya Jam are also pretty, so I’ve stocked up on one or two of each. However, if I keep getting cheilitis, I’m considering just assuming the ingredients don't agree with me and selling them on Carrot Market.
If I may give you a usage tip, when you apply it Yoplait phenomenon There is a slight issue, but there is a trick to it. If you apply the tint, wait about a minute, and then gently press it with a tissue, the edges will be less messy. Then, if you apply a thin layer over it, the color payoff is clean and the staying power is quite good. So, the color itself is highly versatile for no-makeup makeup or layering.
conclusion!!!
Romand Bear Grape definitely gets a passing grade in terms of color and versatility! However, the ingredients are a bit harsh on sensitive lips, and if you have chapped or sensitive lips like me, please be sure to exercise caution as it can cause skin trouble like cheilitis. If only the ingredients had been improved to be a bit gentler, I think I would have used it as my holy grail tint for a long time.
