Differences between mineral and chemical sunscreens

I heard that organic sunscreens work by using chemical ingredients to absorb UV rays and release them as heat.

It spreads well, but the characteristic is that it can cause eye irritation or skin irritation.

Mineral sunscreens are said to be made by using inorganic substances to reflect UV rays; while they are less irritating, they are reported to have poorer spreadability compared to organic sunscreens and may leave a white cast.
