First of all, it is not greasy at all, and although it claims to be a tone-up product, since I am not on the very fair side, I just apply it thinking it helps to even out my skin texture! They recommend applying an amount the size of a 500-won coin, but I can't apply that thickly, so I spread it thinly. I'm not sure if it actually blocks UV rays, but I wear it year-round thinking it's better than not wearing anything. The sun has been stinging lately, so I should probably apply it a bit thicker! There is no white cast, it feels soft and matte when applied, and it is gentle as it doesn't sting the eyes. It finishes with a soft, matte look because it is oil-free.
