I am asking this because I am wondering if I really need to apply sunscreen even on cloudy days.
I think it is obvious to apply sunscreen when the weather is clear and the sunlight is strong because the UV rays are intense, but on cloudy days, it feels like there is almost no sunlight, so I wonder if I really need to apply it.
However, I am confused because I have heard that UV rays penetrate the clouds. I would like to know if it is better to apply sunscreen as usual even on cloudy days, or if it is okay to skip it when I am out for a short time or on days when the sunlight is weak. I have also heard that the UV index is low on cloudy days, but I am wondering if I should still apply it consistently to protect my skin.
