Round Lab Birch Mineral Sunscreen, good for sensitive skin
I tend to prefer mineral sunscreens because my dermatitis often recurs after using chemical sunscreens for a long time. I usually stick to minerals, especially in the summer when I apply a thick layer all day. I recently tried the Round Lab Birch Mineral Sunscreen and found it quite good, so I am leaving a review. First off, when I went on a trip, I applied the Birch Mineral Sunscreen and spent a long time outdoors under strong UV rays, yet I experienced absolutely no dermatitis reaction. That alone makes it a winner for me, and seeing that my skin barely got tanned, it seems to provide proper UV protection. I have oily skin that tends to get greasy in the summer, but the Round Lab Birch Mineral Sunscreen applies with a firm, bouncy texture rather than looking greasy. It feels like it adheres well, but perhaps because of that, if you apply it carelessly, it clumps around the nose or leaves a white cast line around the edges of the face, so you have to spread it out quite meticulously. However, if you spread it well, it makes your skin look bright and radiant, like you've applied a tone-up cream, so I sometimes just apply powder on top and finish my base makeup. When I set it with powder, I noticed that the sunscreen didn't melt and cake much over time. It isn't a sunscreen with exceptional spreadability, but it's decent enough. It didn't irritate my skin at all, which is sensitive to UV filters, and the white cast is just right—enough to provide a tone-up effect—so I like it. If you have really sensitive skin, I recommend giving the Round Lab Birch Mineral Sunscreen a try :)
