Missha London Eye, a perfect match approved even by mom
That day, too, I did a simple look, applying only contouring eyeshadow up to just above my crease, and using glitter only on the center of my eyelids and under-eyes. The glitter was what I always use, and I had only changed the contouring eyeshadow, which was Missha Modern Shadow London Eye.
But my mom said my eye makeup looked great today. She asked what eyeshadow I used and told me to use that one from now on. It was the first time she'd ever complimented my makeup and liked it that much, haha. If she admits it, isn't that the end of it? After all, Missha London Eye is a perfect match for me, haha.
Knowing that this one suited me perfectly, I also tried Laura Mercier Fresco, which is said to be similar. However, perhaps because Fresco has such good color payoff, the color comes out too intensely—or rather, if I wasn't careful with the amount I applied—it felt a bit too dark and heavy on me. London Eye does have slightly less color payoff, but I actually liked that because it applies softly and transparently. Even if I slap it on in the busy morning, it doesn't look messy or overdone.
Anyway, ever since then, I've been using the London Eye as a staple. I heard it was being discontinued, so I stocked up on several, but when I checked later, they were still selling it lol. I don't know if it's actually discontinued now, but since I stocked up enough to last a lifetime, it doesn't matter to me haha.
To be honest, I don't know my personal color for sure. People tell me that a clear fuchsia lip color suits these kinds of eyeshadows well. They also say that I look good in clear shades that let my skin through slightly, rather than dark or opaque colors, and that this is what they call a Summer Cool Tone. Since I heard that Missha London Eye is a good eyeshadow for Summer Cools, I decided to post on the Summer Cool forum thinking that I might be something like that.
